Why you should buy junk food during your diet
Yes you read that correctly. If you have a family, kids or a room-mate, chances are they are not going to be eating the same things as you on a diet. That’s OK. No need to drop all the food in the house. If you live alone, I also recommend having some type of food that you would what in the house….
Now, that I have your attention…
I do not recommend completely avoiding buying snack foods for your family, going out to eat or missing parties. One, this is life and two, your life has to fit into your diet. Otherwise, one of two things will happen, you will FAIL losing weight OR you will gain back all the weight you lost. Why?
It is simple. That junk food will never leave this earth. Your cravings and you are going to have to learn how to live in harmony on this earth. It’s like that mean woman at the office, you work together. You don’t have to be friends, have lunch or go to your kid’s birthday parties, But you gotta work together and get along.
No Matter what….
Restaurants will continue serving unhealthy food when you walk in the door.
You sister will still serve the cake as planned at her wedding.
The grocery store will not stop selling sweets, chocolates and cakes just because you are on a diet.
There is one crucial thing that you have to master to win the battle of weight loss….
You train your muscles, heart, and lungs for workouts. Dieting trains your will power. You may be dieting today or remember a time you were watching what you ate, and gave into that ice cream, cupcake, bag of chips or cake! That’s fine. Just try to spread out the instances this happens. If you went 3 days. See how long you can go without giving into temptation this time.
When you diet, you are giving your body EXACTLY what it needs to lose weight. It is our past behaviors that cause us to give into our cravings. You just have to fight your past, so you come out stronger and the will power to conquer your eating issues forever.
I am not the trainer that tells you to give up ice cream, wine or cake forever. There is a time and occasion where it is perfectly fine. There is also a time where you need to buckle down and focus on eating better so that you can get that body you have always wanted deep down in your heart.
I have had clients in the past that say I have a wedding on Saturday but I am not going because I can’t eat anything there. Well that’s bull. One, you are missing out on a memory two you are defeating the purpose of fitting a diet into your life. You can’t just miss events forever right? You have to focus on going to those events and work on your will power. You will always come out stronger
Next time you are shopping for your meal prep for the week, Buy a bag of skittles or ice cream or whatever. Buy something you would like. Hell, put it on the counter so you see it in passing everyday! Each time you pass it, acknowledge the red velvet cupcake and move on. “Not today cuppy cake, I am working on me.”
“But I can’t be around that food at all when I am dieting.”
Um, you, yeah you. Did the cupcake just jump in your mouth? Do the M&M’s crawl out of the bag and sneak in your gullet? No, sir you can’t convince me that it did. That is your weak will power giving in, and you will HAVE to master and get it stronger. Other wise you will always fail eating well
Trust me this will be as beneficial you buying one of my diet plans. Take this to heart and you will lose the weight you want and keep it off FOREVER.
