Fish is High in Omega 3 fatty acids which is notably awesome for your heart! As for weight loss, many omega-3 carriers are rich in protein. And study after study confirms: Protein makes you feel full. You even burn more calories digesting protein than you do when you eat fats or carbs. Protein can increase your metabolism up to 30%!
Nuts are high in protein and rich in magnesium. Foods rich in magnesium are also extremely weight loss friendly. For those who have a hard time sleeping, magnesium has also been shown to help you sleep! A 2010 study by USDA researchers, published in Magnesium Research, found that magnesium supplementation can help people who have a hard time sleeping to doze peacefully through the night. Chia seeds pack a whopping 11 grams of fiber into a one ounce serving. Fiber isnt absorbed by the body so it helps digest foods in your digestive track without absorption. Meaning less calories are absorbed. Here is a great recipe to use.
VANILLA CHIA PUDDING
2 cups unsweetened almond milk (use your favorite)
1/2 cup chia seeds
2 teaspoons vanilla extract, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean powder or seeds of 1 vanilla bean
1 tablespoon pure maple syrup or cocoonut, turbinado or organic pure cane sugar, optional
Place ingredients in container or bowl and mix well. Place covered in the refrigerator and mix every 1-2 hours until set. Mixing is important since the seeds will fall to the bottom of the container, if not shakin or stirred every now and then it won’t set properly. Keep refrigerated, will last up to 5-6 days.
Serve as you like.

Beans and Legumes
