How to lose weight fast! 10 lbs in 10 days
I hear it all the time from clients. “I want to lose weight fast!” It’s to be to good to be true right? There is no way you can lose 10 lbs in days, right? No you can actually lose 10 lbs in 10 days. Believe it or not your body wants to burn fat. Changes need to be made to turn that fat burning machine on.

In fact, you get to eat real great food all day everyday!
It is commonly believed that its not good to lose weight fast. My newest clients are constantly telling my they are In disbelief of how much weight they have lost so quick with my Total metabolic reboot. Just a few tweaks need to be made to get your body into fat burning mode.
Track your food intake EVERYDAY!
HOw do you know how much calories your body is burning if you do not keep track. I am providing you with a free printable below :
Focus on protein – As you get older, protein get utilized a lot more than carbs. Depending on how much weight you have gained over the years it makes sense right.
Protein can also increase your metabolism up to 30% while keeping you full with every meal
It also slows the aging process so load up so you stop seeing wrinkles
Drink lots of water- Water is our most abundant resource and makes up 60-70% of our bodies. When we are dehydrated it doesn’t work efficiently including burning fat.
Drink as much an as often as you can.
It should go without saying water doesn’t include juices or any other calorie drink. Lose the mocha latte and energy drinks
Go for walks at night (or morning)- It doesn’t have to take a lot of workout effort to lose weight. Especially if you have a sedentary job, taking a walk at night will make a big difference in your weight loss.
A recent British study found people who regularly walked for fitness—albeit at a fast pace—weighed less than those devoted to other types of physical activity, including running, swimming, and cycling.
I love to walk and be outside. I also love to see my progress. I recently got a fit bit. It tells me how many steps I have done through out the day, records my workouts, tracks my heart rate, tells me how many calories I burn throughout the whole day (this is important if you are dieting guys), tracks sleep and a ton more. I can even do challenges with my friends, like who does the most steps through out the day, or walks the most miles in a week. It makes is a game and keeps you motivated and it syncs right to your phone. It is the best investment I have made to track my health.

In fact, Walking along with the right technique can burn a lot more fat than High intensity exercises in one setting.
Measure and limit the starch carbs– Yep there I said it. We are a carb heavy nation and it shows. Carbs are more easily available that’s why we eat them so often
Your body can only handle so much, so when you binge on a ton of carbs at once, you will store it…. Carbs are glucose when broken down in the body or sugar. When you break it down, your body sees it as sugar and releases, insulin through the pancreas to eliminate some of this excess sugar in your blood. All the leftover get stored as FAT.
Depending on the type of carb you way you could be burning fat or storing fat on a daily basis. I teach you exactly what carbs to eat and how much in my Total metabolic reboot.
Eat only veggies that won’t spike your blood sugar meaning they are low on the glycemic index. Let me tweak that statement… Veggies grown above grown have less impact on your fat storage compared to below ground veggies
Eliminate foods you are allergic to.
Some people are allergic to dairy, wheat gluten or alcohol. You may not notice it but you may notice subtle signs of it. When you have food allergies in your diet, your body will first fight off the allergy before losing body fat. Common food allergies to watch out for, :
- Milk (mostly in children)
- Tree nuts, like walnuts, almonds, pine nuts, brazil nuts, and pecans
- Wheat and other grains with gluten, including barley, rye, and oats
- Fish (mostly in adults)
- Shellfish (mostly in adults)
These foods make up about 90% of all food allergies. You will know you have an allergy, if you get headaches, bloated, gastrointestinal issues, itchy eyes, and hives
Bring on the caffeine
Coffee contains caffeine… which is the most commonly consumed psychoactive substance in the world.
Caffeine has made its way to most commercial fat burning supplements, for good reason.
It is one of the few substances that is known to help mobilize fats from the fat tissues and increase metabolism
In fact, coffee contains several biologically active substances that can affect metabolism:
- Caffeine – a central nervous system stimulant.
- Theobromine and Theophylline – substances related to caffeine that can also have a stimulant effect.
- Chlorogenic Acid – one of the biologically active compounds in coffee, may help slow absorption of carbohydrates .
Caffeine is a great way to kick off your metabolism and energy in the morning. Coffee or tea it doesn’t matter as long as it is plain. Eliminate the sugars, flavors and artificial sugars in your morning cup.
Eliminate artificial sugars
Artificial sugar is toxic to the body in mass quantity. It has to be rid of the body thru your liver, which also burns fat from your body.
When there is too much toxins in your body, your liver will first get rid of that then burn fat. How efficient is that?
Get a plan If you are running around trying to figure this out without a plan. Chances are you won’t follow thru, don’t worry everyone is the same way.
