There are literally thousands of diets out there, so how do you decide which one works, which one fails, and what you will stick with? I am here to tell you scientifically you can always lose weight with Intermittent low carb diets.
Why is it always low carb?
Carbs have a huge effect on our hormones and how we burn and store body fat. In this day and age we have excess carbs in all our dishes, we are failing to portion the right amounts for our bodies and we see weight gain because of it. And why not, who doesn’t love a good pasta dish or amazing dessert ?
Wen you intake a carb, it triggers a hormonal response from the body. Carbs break down into sugar in the body, well excess sugar is not good for your body. You body releases insulin from pancreas to delete the sugar out of your blood stream.
What happens if there is too much sugar in the blood?
Having too much sugar in the blood for long periods of time can cause serious health problems if it’s not treated. High blood sugar can damage the vessels that supply blood to vital organs, which can increase the risk of heart disease and stroke, kidney disease, vision problems, and nerve problems in people with diabetes. If you feel you have any of these issues, seek medical help. From a cosmetic perspective, when there is too much sugar in your body and not enough insulin to delete it. It is turned into fat in you body! Most of this fat deposits, on your belly. Booooooo
What happens over time
If you are sugar-aholic over time the process of your pancreas releasing insulin into the bloodstream stops working, this is what we call diabetes. You would need to get on a strict diet and possible medications.
Can this be prevented? Of course! You just need to make some changes. Low carb is the fastest, way to see weight loss and your health increase dramatically. According to this study, “intermittent, low-carbohydrate diets were superior to the standard, daily Mediterranean diet in reducing weight, body fat and insulin resistance. Mean reduction in weight and body fat was roughly 4 kilograms (about 9 pounds) with the intermittent approaches compared with 2.4 kilograms (about 5 pounds) with the standard dietary approach. Insulin resistance reduced by 22 percent with the restricted low-carbohydrate diet and by 14 percent with the “ad lib” low-carbohydrate diet compared with 4 percent with the standard Mediterranean diet.”
