Skip the gym and do these 8 exercises that will benefit your body and physique! No equipment required. I will give you a sample workout at the end!
1.Burpies Everyone hates them but wow are they a calorie killer. A burpie can burn anywhere from 8-14 calories per minute! This one total body move gets your heart rate up, while toning your legs, arms and strengthening your core. To spice this move up ad a push-up when you are in plank position.
2. Lunges A great way to tone your legs while burning off that sweet snack you had earlier. The key to this move is to go down as far as you can before your knee hits the floor. If you feel these too much in your knees chance are you are not using your glutes or your butt! when you go into the lunge squeeze your glutes on the way up!
3. Jump squats. Using the power in your legs and butt to get a sweat going with this exercise. Go into a squat as low as you can and push with your heels on the way up and JUMP! Never jump from your toes this can also cause knee issues.
4. Squats. All the biggest muscles are in your lower extremities, legs and butt. That means they burn the most calories, the more you incorporate them into your workout the more calories you burn! Then the fat just melts off your body. You can learn more about this in my 21 day challenge!
5. Push ups Push ups focus on toning your arms shoulders and building strength for your chest. While doing push ups you also work your cores so you get a bonus of some extra ab work.
6. Tricep dips The simplest move that seems so east has a big effect on the back of your arms, if you want to tighten and tone this is a great isolating exercise for it.
7. Planks Total core workout, lower back, upper back, abs and obliques.
8. Stairs Have you ever seen those idiots using the stepmill at the gym? Yeah I am one of them. Why? Because it burns so many calories! It burns about 250 calories in 25 mins! so use those stairs whenever you can
